The British Government has pledged £20 million of funding for an alternative lender in order to fund small businesses in the UK, it was announced today. Oxygen Accelerator start-up Owned it secures £100,000 funding

Finance Birmingham has invested £50,000 in Oxygen Accelerator start-up, Owned it, advised by law firm, Cobbetts LLP. Birmingham Science Park based-Owned it also secured £50,000 from private investors, bringing the total investment secured to £100,000. Business Secretary visits Birmingham bakeware firm to launch fund

Business Secretary Vince Cable today launched a £60 million pot of Regional Growth Fund investment and bank finance at the Community Development Finance Association’s (CDFA) annual conference.
